Best Buy Sold Out of Cyan Lumia 900

Ashley is a 26 year old with an enthusiasm for all things technology related. She hails from the Southern United States and when she's not tweaking her Android handset, she can usually be found in front of the computer or Xbox 360 enjoying the latest game releases.

Despite Nokia reporting a near €590 million loss for Q1, the Lumia 900 seems to be doing well here in the United States. The AT&T stores were temporarily out of stock of both the cyan and black models the same week the phones released, but the black model has since been restocked. For those seeking the cyan model, other outlets were the only option.

Now, Best Buy is also out of the cyan version of the phone, which means the color is much more popular than I would have given credit. These sellouts spell good things for both Nokia and Windows Phone enthusiasts, as it means the beginning of Windows Phone becoming a viable third ecosystem in the mobile market.

It will spell bad news if these devices aren’t upgradable to WP8.
