PSA: Windows Phone users should not name rename email account with Outlook.com

Whenever a new service comes out we tend to get excited and immediately sign up for it. If you went ahead and quickly signed in to Outlook.com there is one thing Windows Phone users should not do. Being a new service, there is still a lot of work to be done. One thing that still needs tinkering is using an Outlook.com account with a Windows Phone.

The above warning appears if you try to change your Live email to an Outlook.com address. So for the time being just stick with Live until Microsoft has a fix for this. You can still try check out Outlook.com, but just don’t go changing any email addresses. Hopefully since Windows Phone is their own product they solve this problem soon.
