Firefox Metro for Windows 8 shown off, available for download now

We’ve been following Firefox Metro for Windows 8 for a while now, and it looks like the team is very close to finishing. Over on the Mozilla blog we get our first in depth look at what Firefox Metro looks like. As you can see it has been fully optimized for touch. FF Metro uses the charms menu for settings and search, and utilizes the swipe interface as well. It integrates into the Metro environment of Windows 8, but also can be used in the desktop mode.

If you are running the RTM build of Windows 8 and you’d like to try out this new browser download the nightly build here. Be sure to let us know what you think!
