    Next gen Apollo devices

I think we're gonna see the GSIII and One X hardware running Apollo this fall.

Is this what next generation Windows Phone devices will look like? | WinSource

I doubt a Windows Phone One X will be making an appearance, but I sincerely hope they do. Meanwhile, Samsung needs to up it's hardware design, because the S3 and the Mandel LOOK AWFUL. That's not competing with Nokia and HTC for good hardware design, at all.

Why don't you think HTC will reuse the One X hardware?

HTC's Windows Phones haven't really be on the "innovative design" side of the spectrum. Something about the Titan series makes me thinks HTC just is kind of, well, half "derriereing" the design. If Windows Phone 8 can match the Android super phones, then I think the we might see a reused One X design. Right now, though, Windows Phone is getting the short end of the stick in terms of truly dedicated hardware designers

Samsung said in a statement that they won't really be working on too much Windows Phone until Apollo is released. I mean Samsung is a great company with great products and i know when they want, they will produce an amazing Windows Phone

Honestly, what did you think of the Galaxy S3 launch yesterday? Since almost none of those (unnecessary) software features announced yesterday can come to Windows Phone, aren't consumers better off paying for a high end Nokia or HTC phone, rather than a poorly designed, featureless rip off of the S3? It's just such an ugly phone. I really don't believe Samsung can be considered a top tier Windows Phone OEM until they start putting some innovative hardware designs for Windows Phones, and not Android phone hand me downs

I'd love to get a HTC One X - Windows Phone, I adore HTC build quality. However, if Lumia has a 41 mpx camera, this is where I'll go.

Not really concerned about apps but it's a nice bonus.

And if rumors are true and pureview wp8 will only have a 12 mpx camera...Yeah, forget it,

Oh absolutely agree with you here. I mean Samsung is a good manufacturer, just not yet in the Windows Phone section. I mean they have some (And i stress some very hard) good phone set outs there but not a whole lot. Samsung needs to believe in Windows Phone in order to make a good phone for the platform. Nokia and Microsoft's partnership is seriously one of the best software and hardware ties in the industry i believe. They both like each other and aren't suing each other while doing business like Samsung and Apple are, even though it's "Just Business" it still will effect the way they see each other. Samsung needs to get in gear and start designing a nice, nice Windows Phone for the public. The nice thing is that a lot of people are starting to realize the potential of the platform and using it to it's full potential, and advertising it. I was in the AT&T store while i was here just to check out phone and they where really excited to tell me about it, which made me happy that the "iPhone" is not the "only" phone anymore

That's exactly why I think they will reuse the One X or S design. That way they only have to be innovative once.

That Lumia Purview won't be in the next flagship Lumia, it will be in another, separate Lumia so as to not sacrifice thinness of the flagship. At least that's what I'm thinking

The problem with Samsung is that their S3 flagship isn't even designed well, so when the Mandel reuses that design, Samsung will already be out of luck in vying for Top manufacturer status

I guess so, maybe Apollo will be the Android Froyo counterpart for Windows phone, where manufacturers start taking Windows phone seriously. But something has to change in order to see Windows Phones being designs first, not be after thoughts of Android phones
