Well, here’s something I never thought I’d see. Nokia has unveiled the “Nokia Lumia Pink” nail polish in conjunction with Duality Cosmetics. The polish is just as salmon pink as the phone and it’s only available in select locations in Dallas, Denver, and Los Angeles. It’s interesting that this is the route Nokia has chosen to promote the new pink Lumia 900, as nail polish colors are often referred to by name rather than the base color. It’s why so many cosmetic companies go to great lengths to give their polish colors unique names, very similar to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. It’s brand recognition.
The only downside of this promotion? The other phone models don’t have matching polishes and in my opinion, Nokia Cyan is a much brighter, vibrant color.
