VKTune App Released; Music Player For Vkontakte

For users who don’t mind relying on less.. scrupulous methods of obtaining music, vkTune is now available in the Marketplace and serves as a music player for the Russian social network VKontakte. The service harbors a huge database of music, making it ripe for the picking when it comes to finding your favorite tunes. Features include:

  • Live Tiles
  • Fast forward and rewind
  • Music lists: albums, recommendations, friends, groups
  • Edit mode playlists
  • Background playback
  • Search and add audio

You can also choose to enable or disable downloading album art if you don’t want to waste precious data on a limited connection. The app fits in well with MetroUI and looks pretty fun, so if you’re interested in trying it out, you can download it from the Marketplace here.
