What Does 28 Windows Phones + Bing Maps Create?

Joe Fedewa is 23 years old and lives near Lansing, Michigan. He's been interested in technology ever since he got his first flip phone. Since then he's evolved from flip phones to smartphones, and become even more interested in everything from cord cutting to web browsers. Joe is also an avid sports fan and sci-fi movie geek. He's a Joe of all trades.

We’ve seen some creative uses for Windows Phone, but this takes the prize for using the most handsets to create a remote controlled Bing maps display.

Rudy Huyn laid out 28 WIndows Phone handsets made by Nokia, Samsung, and HTC. He linked them up and loaded up Bing maps. This essentially turned the phones into a giant monitor for what was being siplayed on his remote phone. Panning around on the remote phone moves the map on the 28 phones. It’s really cool. We love seeing Windows Phone being used so creatively.
