A pretty big phone was announced today for the Android folks. Of course we’re talking about the over-hyped Samsung Galaxy S III. The phone is spec’d out like you would expect an Android phone to be, but the interesting thing for us Windows Phone fans is its design.
As you can see in the images above the GSIII strikes a remarkable resemblance to the Samsung Mandel images we posted earlier today. This is particularly interesting because of the rumor that Samsung’s next Windows Phone device would basically be a re-purposed Galaxy S III. Now that the GSIII hardware might be in our future we should get to know it a little better.
- 4.8″ (1280×720) HD Super AMOLED display
- 8MP camera / 1.9MP FF camera
- 1.4GHz quad-core processor
- 2100 mAh battery
- NFC
- HSPA+ / LTE
Like what you see? So do we. Now just imagine all that with Windows Phone 8 on board.
