The Lumia 900 launch has not been without its hitches. First there was the data connectivity bug, and recently there has been a purple screen issue. To Nokia’s credit they have identified the early issues, and sent out updates quickly. On Twitter Nokia has addressed the situation with the purple screen, and said a future software update will fix the issue.
We have identified the issue and will be addressed through a future SW update.
It’s very good to hear that the issue can be fixed with a software update. Had it been a hardware problem there would be a lot of Lumia owners ditching the phone. We expect the fix to see a speedy release like the previous data fix.
