Windows 8 Release Preview now available to download

It’s been a while since the Windows 8 Consumer Preview was released, and it recieved a very nice welcome. Reports said that downloads of the Windows 8 CP doubled the Windows 7 Beta. Microsoft is now on to the next step in the journey to official release with the Windows 8 Release Preview.

New features in the Release Preview include a limited version of Flash that works for some websites. Flash has been purposefully limited so it doesn’t drain resources. Also included is some new apps to show off the Metro interface.
