It’s easy to forget that Amazon actually beat both Google and Apple to the cloud music game. Last year they introduced their Cloud Player app that can stream music you’ve bought from Amazon, and music you’ve uploaded from your own personal collection, to your mobile device. Right now Cloud Player is available for Android and iOS, but a new job posting reveals that they want to bring it to Windows Phone too.
The job posting is for “Manager, Software Development Engineer for Windows Phone.” The first item on the list of duties flat out says: “You will lead the development and launch of Cloud Player client software on Windows Phone..”
