Over the past week or so we’ve had fun discovering new features of Windows Phone 8. Now it looks like Bing will be getting a major overhaul as well, so that it can incorporate headlines, movies, videos, and local events. A new set of screenshots have been unearthed that shows Bing offering up local deals a la Groupon, so users can take advantage of them without needing a specific app. Bing natively aggregates several different local coupon providers.
This is most likely a US only feature for now, but it’s an interesting way to compete with the likes of Apple’s Siri and Android’s Google Now.
