Would you wait for a cyan Lumia 920?

Yesterday we saw the cyan Lumia 920 make a split second appearance in a Nokia video. We were initially disapointed that Nokia didn’t show a cyan version of the Lumia 920, but it’s looking more and more likely that the cyan version will come later.

Many companies like to launch a white version of a phone months after the intial release, but it looks like Nokia may be going in a more colorful direction. This raises a tough question for people who are ready to buy the Lumia 920: do you buy one on launch day, or wait for the cyan version? Let us know below!

Personally, I don’t think I’ll be waiting for the cyan version. A slate grey 920 is calling my name.


  • If it came in matte finish.
    But as it looks like right now, it’ll probably be a gray or black one.

  • The real question is, will it be on Verizon. If the answer is yes, I’ll be picking up whatever color is available.

    I don’t care what color as long as it’s available on T-mobile.

  • I’m going to wait until I can see these phones first hand. I don’t want a bright color that screams for attention. The cyan is great, maybe they don’t want people to confuse it with the existing phones, but that’s a mistake.
    I’ll probably end up with the gray or black

    I will definitely hold out for another color option. Grey or black is fine but I would prefer cyan over yellow or red.

    Slate grey is my pick. I’d do white again, but only if it was matte. My Lumia 900 is white, but glossy isn’t my thing after all.
