Microsoft Surface is a pretty durable device. The body is made of a crazy new magnesium material, and the screen is Gorilla Glass 2. Not enough proof for you? Microsoft’s Steven Sinofsky has put Surface to the ultimate test and has used the tablet as a skateboard.
He mounted some wheels on to a Surface, put on a helmet, and rode on the device like a skateboard. Lo and behold the sturdy Surface tablet did not bend or break. He posted some photos to Twitter, but we would have loved to see a video. It’s a nice little demonstration of the build quality, but what we don’t see is whether the tablet still works.
We’ll just have to assume none of you will be trying this at home.
