NFC is great, but there are not a lot of opportunities to use it in the world today. First you need one of the few phones with NFC, then you have to find someone who also has one of those phones, and then you really hope they run the same OS as you. Microsoft has made that third problem less of an issue with Tap to Send in Windows Phone 8.
In the video above we show how NFC sharing works between Windows Phone 8 and Android. The functionality is limited since it is cross platform, but you can still share webpages and contacts. The latter is an especially useful cross platform feature. Will this make you use NFC sharing more?
