Today Steve Ballmer took the stage at the Windows Phone 8 launch event to detail the prices and availability for the announced Windows Phone 8 devices available. Amid the announcement, Ballmer stated that through an exclusive partnership with Verizon, the carrier will get the Samsung ATIV Odyssey, which brings the total offering of Windows Phone 8 devices on Verizon up to three. The ATIV Odyssey will be available sometime in 2013, according to Ballmer.
Verizon customers now have a choice between the HTC 8X, the Nokia Lumia 822, and now the Samsung ATIV Odyssey. This means the only launch partner missing from Verizon’s line up is a Huawei device. Not bad, what do our Verizon customers think?
