Just a couple of weeks ago Rovio said they would be bringing Angry Birds Rio to Windows Phone “very soon.” Today they have made good on that promise. The popular version of Angry Birds based on the 2011 movie, Rio, is now available for all Windows Phone devices.
Angry Birds Rio is more than just a spin-off movie tie-in game. It differs from the regular version of Angry Birds with Rio themed levels and birds from the movie with unique abilities. You might think that this is just a crappy movie tie-in game, but that is certainly not the case. Angry Birds Rio has received many updates and continues to be fun.
