What companies are making Windows Tablets?

I was definitely not that interested in Windows 8 until it occurred to me what a strong OS it will be for a tablet, which is obviously the sort of venture they're going for. I can definitely see getting a lot of use out of a Windows 8 tablet, if the apps it offers are strong enough.

I like to compare Windows 8 to a Swiss army knife, but I want to make sure that all the blades are sharp enough for kids and old people to use. Wait a second...
