The Smartphone Beta Test is Nokia’s ad campaign for the Lumia 900. If you’ve never seen one of the ads basically Nokia is making the claim that all smartphones before the Lumia 900 were part of a beta test. Every time you took a terrible picture with your phone you were taking part in the beta test. Well, as Nokia has declared, the beta test is over, and the Carl Zeiss optics in the Lumia 900 camera have put an end to bad phone cameras (or so they say). The truth of the matter is the Lumia 900 camera hasn’t actually been as good as expected. You can read more about that in our Lumia 900 review later today.
