If you came from to Windows Phone from Android you might miss the Google Maps experience. Luckily there is an app for that called gMaps.

gMaps has been on a wild ride the last few weeks. First Google brought up some copyright concerns which removed the app from the marketplace. gMaps is finally back after being gone a few weeks, but there is a catch. The developer had to resubmit the app which means anyone who previously owned it will have to repurchase.

But there is good news. The developer has put gMaps Pro on sale for $0 today only to make up for all the inconveniences. If you want an alternative to Bing Maps this is your best choice.
