While MetroTube made a triumphant return to the Marketplace last month much to the enjoyment of many WP users, PrimeTube won’t be shown up and has been updated to version 2.1 which offers several new features, including a brand new video player. The new controls for the video player feature the ability to change between HD, HQ, and LQ, along with a brand a bit of a makeover to make everything look a bit nicer.
The new 2.1 update features these UI refreshes, along with better performance and several bug fixes in order to make the PrimeTube experience just a bit better. Offline viewing is still not supported with PrimeTube, but you can still favorite, leave comments, and even pin your must have videos to the start menu. Uploading video with the app is also possible. PrimeTube is one of my favorite YouTube apps and is the app I used for a long while until MetroTube made its return on the market. It’s free, so why not check out the new features?
