If you’re a Bank of America customer you’ve probably been a bit incised that Android and iOS users have access to check deposit while you’ve been left out in the cold. Thankfully that is being remedied in the coming days, as service enhancements like mobile check deposit, person-to-person email and mobile transfers and app alerts are coming to the Bank of America app for Windows Phone.
“Our customers are living in a more connected world and that extends to their financial lives. This ‘always-on’ environment calls for more convenience, control and flexibility, and we are providing it,” said Aditya Bhasin, Consumer Marketing and Online and Mobile executive. “Our new capabilities deliver the full bank in our customers’ hands.”
We’re always glad to see when major financial institutions like Bank of America support Windows Phone and hope that others will jump on the bandwagon soon. I’m looking at you, PNC Bank.
