This morning Microsoft announced that Windows 8 development is complete, and the RTM code is being sent to partners. Another bit of news that should be exciting to developers is the Windows Store is now accepting paid apps. Any supported business in a market with the Windows Store can submit a paid app. Microsoft says to individuals looking to submit paid apps “stay tuned.”

On August 15th the the RTM build of Windows 8 will be available for MSDN and TechNet subscribers. The Store is also being expanding to new markets and languages soon. Big steps for Windows 8 and the Windows Store. Who’s excited to buy some apps?
