Nokia announced the Lumia 925 this morning, but also a new app for Windows Phone 8. Hipstamitc Oggl is Hipstamatic’s new social network for creative people. It was just launched a few days ago for iOS, and now Windows Phone will be getting it too.
Hipstamatic Oggl has all the same great features you would find in a regular Hipstamatic app. You can take photos, apply filters, and share photos to Instagram. We’re not sure on that last bit yet. Hipstamatic for iOS can share images to Instagram due to a special agreement between the two companies. Hopefully that is included in the Windows Phone app.
The Oggl part of Hipstamatic Oggl is a social network. Windows Phone is getting Oggl before Android, which is a very nice turn of events. With Oggl you can view friend’s photos and comment or like them. Think of it as Hipstamatic’s way of being more like Instagram. Hipstamatic should arrive for Windows Phone very soon.
