Microsoft keeps making strides to ensure the success of WP7 and have now announced a new division called MGS (Microsoft Games Studios) Mobile Gaming that will develop for the platform. They are now hiring software engineers for that purpose.
This would suggest that exclusivity on some of these titles is imminent, which will hopefully (in a small way) push people to adopt the new platform. Sometimes little things can go a long way, like my addition to iOS’ Tiny Wings, a game which single-handedly urges me to buy an iPad.
One of the cool features that Microsoft has shown off that they will probably implement down the road is the ability to pick up on a game on one device that you started on another, and vice versa. Could work well for some arcade titles. Only time will tell!
