Grooveshark HTML5 Web App Now Working on Windows Phone

Joe Fedewa is 23 years old and lives near Lansing, Michigan. He's been interested in technology ever since he got his first flip phone. Since then he's evolved from flip phones to smartphones, and become even more interested in everything from cord cutting to web browsers. Joe is also an avid sports fan and sci-fi movie geek. He's a Joe of all trades.

The Grooveshark for Windows Phone Saga has taken a turn in the right direction. Several weeks ago a developer for the streaming music service announced that Grooveshark would need an update to the IE9 browser before their HTML5 web app could work. That was bad news considering the next OS update could be far away.

Apparently Microsoft saw this and was not satisfied. They decided to help Grooveshark get the HTML5 web app working properly. Head to html5.grooveshark.com on your Windows Phone and you’ll see that the team effort was a success. The web app now works properly, and even runs under the lockscreen like a music app should. Get your groove on!
