Nokia Advertising Internet Sharing on the Lumia 610

Joe Fedewa is 23 years old and lives near Lansing, Michigan. He's been interested in technology ever since he got his first flip phone. Since then he's evolved from flip phones to smartphones, and become even more interested in everything from cord cutting to web browsers. Joe is also an avid sports fan and sci-fi movie geek. He's a Joe of all trades.

Internet sharing has been something missing from Windows Phone devices, but it’s not because the functionality isn’t available. Since Mango the option has been there, but few devices have taken advantage of it. The Nokia Lumia 610 is set to be the first Lumia device with internet sharing enabled. Nokia’s official website is advertising internet sharing. Hopefully as other devices get updated to Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh (Tango) internet sharing will be enabled. Either way, the deal for the low-end Lumia 610 just got a lot sweeter.
