Monday we reported on a supposed new addition to Windows Phone Tango that would see the number of apps available for fast switching increased from five to eight. Sadly, this story has turned out to be false.
What was seen was a custom Tango ROM designed for an HD2 in which the owner had increased the number in the taskswitcher himself. The official ROM still features the five app restriction. As reported by the owner on the XDA forums:
“more tasks in taskswitcher is not a tango feature
it’s just another useful tweak i implemented into my rom”
