AT&T Not Planning to Release the 8107 Update

Ashley is a 26 year old with an enthusiasm for all things technology related. She hails from the Southern United States and when she's not tweaking her Android handset, she can usually be found in front of the computer or Xbox 360 enjoying the latest game releases.

Don’t you just love it when a multi-billion dollar corporation that thrives on its users happiness refuses to offer basic updates with major bug fixes? Yeah, we don’t either. According to an AT&T Community Manager, the carrier is not planning on making the 8107 update available to its users. If you’ll recall, this is the update that fixes the keyboard bug experienced while texting.

While the 8107 update may not be rolling out to customers, all of AT&T’s phones have been confirmed to receive the Tango update, which will most definitely fix the issue since all updates are cumulative.
