It’s no surprise that the Nokia board of directors was a little skeptical when CEO Stephen Elop announced they would be going with Windows Phone for the future. Despite the critics the switch has been an early success for Nokia so far. Jorma Ollila, chairman of the board at Nokia, said today that analyst and consumer response has been even better than expected. This is great news that will hopefully fuel Nokia to push even harder, and as a result make the Windows Phone platform more successful.
