While the Lumia 900 seems to be doing only mildly well in tech review circles, Paul Roth, the president of AT&T’s retail sales seems to be more than pleased with the device, citing exceeded expectations.
Many stores have sold out of their stock of devices by Tuesday, which was only the second day of availability considering many stores were closed on launch day. This seems to be in stark contrast with the many reports of people being turned away from Lumia’s by salespersons promoting iPhones and Android devices.
Of course, this good wave of sales is directly in line with what Amazon is showing for online sales, where the devices have consistently held top spots on the chart since they launched only a few days ago.
