The London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games today announced that an Olympic app will be available for Windows Phone 7. So far only iOS and Android versions have been made clear, but including the Windows Phone platform was imminent, according to chief information officer Gerry Pennell.
“Our drivers are slightly different from some commercial enterprises and our remit as an organising committee is to engage with as many people as possible through as many channels as possible, so that’s driven our need to be as inclusive as possible.”
The app will be available for download sometime next week. We’ll fill you in when more details are released.
