Samsung ATIV S Neo cases showing up at Sprint stores

Remember the Samsung ATIV S Neo? Sprint’s next Windows Phone 8 device hasn’t received much attention, but it is still slated to be released sometime soon. Don’t believe us? Cases for the Neo have started showing up at Sprint stores which indicates the phone will launch soon. If you’re interest, the case happens to be by Body Glove.

We heard rumors that the device would launch on August 16th, but that is already this Friday. Sprint hasn’t been talking about this phone very much, so it is very possible they release it without any major announcements. The phone itself is the same as the original ATIV S. 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 4.8-inch SAMOLED display, 8MP camera, and expandable storage. We expect the phone to launch in the $150 territory. Anyone planning on picking up this phone?

    I plan on picking this up day of release. The HTC offering just isn’t enough for me, so I’ve been waiting on the Samsung WP8 device for some time.

    I’m a bit disappointed that they have absolutely no hype for what is truly the better WP8 offering on Sprint. They announced the 8XT officially around a week in advance, but the S Neo doesn’t look like it’s getting the same treatment.

    Yes. I’ve been waiting since it was first announced, earlier this year. If it’s not available Friday, I just might go with the HTC 8x. It seems to be getting great reviews itself.

    The HTC 8XT didn’t get announced in my area. It was more of a “Surprise” the 8XT is here in the store but you have to ask for it because it is not displayed in the front of store but kept safe in the back. The HTC 8XT so far has great reviews on the Sprint website but I’m holding off for the Samsung Ativ S Neo as well.
