Another week, another Xbox LIVE game. This time it’s Glu Mobile’s Gun Bros, a popular twin-stick shooter that’s been available on iOS and Android for some time. Just like its other counterparts, the game will be releasing for free, with the option to buy DLC to expand your arsenal, including more guns and more mercenaries. It’s really nothing that we haven’t seen before, aside from the Xbox LIVE achievements that will undoubtedly be added.
The real concern here is the paid model, as some previous Xbox LIVE games that had paid DLC featured achievements that could only be obtained by buying the DLC. This is something that has been frowned upon in the community and these achievements are usually reworked into something that’s less of a money grab.
