If you’ve ever seen a Windows 8 commercial you’ve probably caught a glimpse of an app called Fresh Paint. It has been around longer than Windows 8 has even been officially available, and Microsoft loves to show it off. For good reason, because it is a really cool and powerful app.
Fresh Paint puts a blank canvas in front of you with dozens of tools at your fingertips.it has many different brushes and textures to choose from, and you can even mix your own colors. The app interacts with the tools and colors just like a real painting. One example of this is that colors will mix together if you don’t dry them first. A recent job posting from Microsoft has revealed that the company is looking to bring Fresh Paint to Windows Phone as well. Apps like this are better suited for large screens, but it would still be very fun to have this app available on a phone.
