Microsoft gives Surface Pro a $100 price cut too

Not too long ago we saw Microsoft slash the Surface RT pricing by $100. Now they are following suite with the Surface Pro and giving it a nice little price cut. The 64GB version is now just $800, while the 128GB version is $900. This sale ends on August 29th, and only applies to Canada, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the US.

Unlike the Surface RT, the Pro model can run full Windows 8. You can run desktop apps like Photoshop, Sony Vegas, and anything else you can download from the internet. Of course you also get access to the Windows Store and its growing catalogue of apps. Surface Pro is much more useful as a computer than Surface RT. If you’ve been wanting one now is an excellent time.

Still to high. Maybe if they brought it down between $500.00 to $550.00, it would sale better.

You have to remember this is pretty much an ultrabook computer. It won’t be that cheap.

Well Microsoft will just continue to go in the whole waiting on customers to buy it.

I purchased my son one for college. I can not come close to describing how great the Surface Pro is. I was so impressed that I will be purchasing one, when the new version appears.
