When the Lumia 925 was announced we mentioned that it would be the first phone to come with Windows Phone 8 GDR2. Nokia has dubbed GDR2 the “Amber” update, and it will eventually be coming to all Windows Phone 8 Lumia’s. Some leaked images of the Lumia 925 show off a little of what we can expect in GDR2.

As reported earlier this month, GDR2 will include a few small but important new features. Headlining the list is FM Radio support, Data Sense for more carriers, and double tap-to-wake. In the leaked images from dospy we can see all these new features in action. Other features expected in GDR2 are flip-to-silence and display settings. The Lumia 925 is expected in mid June, and the Amber update will follow.

So ‘Amber’ will only be available for Nokia devices? My 8x won’t get some love?
