It looks like GroupMe is attempting to resurrect their attempts at a Windows Phone 7 app, despite being purchased by Skype, which was acquired by Microsoft months ago. The team hasn’t been actively working on development, but a new job post may mean that we’ll see a killer GroupMe app in the Marketplace in the future.
An add for a Senior Windows Phone software developer has been placed, with the ad seeking someone to take the WP7 app “to the next level”. Hopefully the position will be filled soon, as GroupMe on Android and iOS is a pretty neat concept and we’d hate to see WP7 left behind.
