I’ve always found it interesting when users of one operating system want to mimic another. There’s no shortage of metro themes available for Android, but iOS users have been left out in the dark until now. A new Windows 8 theme for jailbroken iPhones could potentially be better than what even Microsoft has shown off and that’s saying quite a lot. The theme is known as ‘Metroon’ and was designed to look very much like Windows 8, all the way down to the live tiles.
Fan concepts are always neat to see, but I think it’s a little flattering that someone went so far as to mimic the upcoming Windows 8 for iPhone users. It’s neat and if you’ve got an old iPhone laying around, why not jailbreak it and test out the theme yourself?
