An often forgotten Pandora-like music service is Slacker Radio. They have always had apps for Windows Phone 7, and they are continuing their support in Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.
A recent update to their Windows Phone app adds support for the double-wide tile, but no other advanced WP8 features. We’d like to see Slacker use the lockscreen to display artist information like the stock music app. Their Windows 8 app has been available for a while, too, and it’s a great alternative to the missing Pandora app. grab both apps for free tomorrow.
