Dailymotion gets a slight redesign for Windows Phone 8

Did you know Dailymotion has an official Windows Phone app? You may not have noticed since the app was launched way back in February of 2011 and hasn’t received much love since then. Not to be forgotten the developers have rolled out a nice little update for Windows Phone 8.

Basically they have changed the theme of the app from black to blue, and made some other little adjustments like resizing the building icon on the menu page. There doesn’t seem to be any Windows Phone 8 features such as lockscreen wallpaper, double wide tile, or fast resume. With the major online video player absent from Windows Phone there is a real shot for sites like Dailymotion and Vimeo.

Do any of you use Dailymotion? If you do, or want to check it our for the first time, the app is free and available for Windows Phone 8 and 7 devices. Grab it from the Windows Phone Store below.
