Nokia is always looking for ways to differentiate their phones with special apps only for Lumia phones. Next up is an app that could save you a lot of money in overage charges. The app is called Xpress for Lumia, it’s a browser that compresses data to save you bandwidth.
Nokia says Xpress will compress data up to 85% during browser sessions. It does this in a rather aggressive way, which might be jarring to some people. In a jam at the end of your data cycle it can be extremely handy. The app also lets users save webpages for offline viewing. other features include a news reader, and a bookmarks page. The app is available for Lumia devices now.
