Hurray! This is going to be great news for a lot of people. Joe Belfiore just announced and detailed some new features for the Skype app in Windows Phone 8. Joe says that Skype will finally be able to run in the background. Users of the current Skype app for Windows Phone will know that you can’t get notifications unless the app is in the forefront and running. That will thankfully no longer be an issue! Who’s excited?
