Nokia is doing a great job at creating compelling Windows Phone devices, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting more. Almost immediately after Nokia and Microsoft teamed up there have been questions about whether they would make a Windows 8 tablet. Last week there was a rumor that suggested Nokia was indeed creating a tablet and it would arrive in Q4. Nokia’s Design Chief may have just confirmed these rumors.
Marko Ahtisaari, Nokia Design Cheif, said in an interview that Nokia is working on tablets (plural). He even went into detail saying he is spending a third of his time working on tablets. Many analysts think Windows 8 tablets will be able to complete with the iPad better than Android tablets. We think one made by Nokia would certainly be a step in the right direction.
