It’s been a few days since Apple unveiled their new iPhone 5S and 5C, but Microsoft is still riding the high. Many companies, such as Nokia, took to their social networks to poke fun at Apple during the event. Microsoft is taking it a step further by creating a video parody of what Apple’s design team pitched to Tim Cook and Jony Ive.
Microsoft has created some great ads in the past, such as the Wedding and Recital ads, but this is not one of them. The jokes aren’t very funny, and at this point it seems a little sad to still be making fun of the event. Just thinking about how much work Microsoft put into this makes them seem desperate. Is it really so important to mock the competition?
Nokia did it right. They sent out some timely tweets during the event, and since then they haven’t said much. Maybe our comedy meter is broken today. Do you think this video is funny? Should Microsoft still be making fun of the new iPhone’s?
