Chronos gets a big update, adds Google Calendar support

Chronos

Back in March James reviewed an excellent new calendar app called Chronos. He raved about the app and gave it a glowing “Duhhh, download this app.” review. Chronos solved a problem many people had with the stock calendar app: not enough features for power users.

One thing that Chronos was missing was Google Calendar support. Google Calendar is such a widely used service that it seemed the app was unfinished without it. With the Google Calendar sync issues in the stock Calendar app it felt like a missed opportunity for Chronos. In the latest update they have added Google Calendar support, as well as a few other new features.

The Google Calendar settings can be accessed along with the other calendars. In there you can choose which shared calendars to display, and color code them for easy viewing. Other new features include lock symbols next to private events, bell symbols for reminders, and a default reminder time. Chronos is available for $1.99 and there is a free trial. It is definitely worth a try. Check out our full review.
